- Setting: Clinic and Inpatient Call
- Census: Patient population, Adult, Adolescent
- Number of beds, 10
- Admissions, Clinic 16-25; inpatient 2-4
- Credentialing Timeframe: 45-60 days.
- FTE: 2 covering 50% of the deliveries.
- EMR: EPIC
- Support Staff: Lab Tech, LPN/LVN, MA, X-ray Tech, RN
- Physicians working with CRNA's.
- Reason for Coverage: An internal provider is leaving and they need to backfill.
- Dealbreakers: All providers must be able to perform all functions of the job (clinic & call) to be considered.
- Adequate procedures for privileging: Need to have procedure log at time of candidate presentation.
Job Responsibilities
Additional Details:
Facility has back-up with skilled general surgeons.
Births per year at SCD: 600 per year, 50 per month
NICU level: NICU 1
Qualifications
Active KS license - Highly Preferred
Active BLS - Required for credentialing
Active DEA - Required for credentialing (site will consider a transferred DEA)
Candidates must detail at time of name clear, if they have had any additional fetal monitoring continuing education in the past 4 years - Required
Clean Malpractice/Background – HIGHLY PREFERRED - Self Inquiry NPDB report is required prior to an offer is made.
Procedure Logs - Required at presentation - providers who do not include the case logs at time of presentation will not be presented to the site - past 24 months for FMOB: Must include a minimum of 50 C-sections, 50 vaginal (with at least 20 each in the last 12 months)
