Job Title : Primary Care Physician (MD/DO)
Location : Lewes, DE
Job Type: Full Time
Shifts: Monday to Friday - 8.30 am to 4 pm
Facility: Out patient
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and caring Primary Care Physician to deliver high-quality outpatient care. You will be the central point of care for patients, focusing on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and health education in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient evaluations: medical history, physical exams, and ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests.

Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic illnesses; develop personalized treatment plans.

Provide preventive care, including immunizations, health screenings, and lifestyle counseling.

Prescribe medications and other therapies, and monitor their effectiveness.

Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient follow-up and referrals.

Educate patients about self-care, disease prevention, and healthy behaviors.

Maintain accurate patient records using an electronic health record (EHR) system.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical guidelines.

Stay current with medical research, advances, and best practices.
Qualifications

MD or DO degree.

Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or equivalent.

Valid state medical license.
-
DEA registration (or equivalent) as required.

Experience (or eligibility) in outpatient primary care.

Proficiency with EHR systems.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Commitment to patient-centered, preventive care.
Work Schedule & Environment

Full-time, Monday to Friday.
