Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), the primary care provider oversees mid-levels and clinical support staff, delivering comprehensive health maintenance to diverse families. Duties include in-service staff training, maintaining detailed medical records, coding encounter forms, and participating in audits. The role involves supervising mid-level providers, attending meetings, and ensuring compliance with care standards and protocols. In clinical functions, the practitioner provides quality care within state or federal law, meeting productivity standards, and participating in after-hours calls. They contribute to preventive medicine, behavioral sciences, and community health while supporting the Patient Centered Medical Home program for comprehensive, culturally sensitive care.

Qualifications

• Current State of California M.D. or D.O.
• Board Certified in a Primary Care discipline.
• Current valid Federal Controlled Substance registration Certificate.
• Current and Valid CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
• Available for all shifts and, when required, able to work evenings and weekends.
