Job Description
A Yakima based client is seeking an experienced Physician to provide excellent primary care services to patients of all ages. This position involves outpatient, inpatient and call for Family Medical Services and Obstetrics Services on occasion. An ideal candidate is a versatile and collaborative Physician who is confident and experienced working with patients of all ages.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree
- Current Washington state medical license
- Completed an accredited residency program
- Current DEA certificate
- Board certified in primary care
- Current CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Experience working with medically underserved populations
- ACOFP boarded physician practicing OMT preferred, but not required
- NRP and ALSO card if providing Obstetrics services
Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients of all ages
- Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results
- Perform therapeutic procedures and educate patients on their treatment plans
- Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload
- Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to policy
- Serve as a supervisor for nursing and mid-level provider staff
