Our client, a private sports medicine and spine practice located in northern NJ, is currently hiring a Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician. The ideal candidate will be a board certified, Sport Medicine fellowship trained physician.

The need for a Primary Care Sports Medicine physician is due to growth of the practice. They utilize osteopathic manipulation techniques and they do not prescribe narcotics for pain. Because of this, the practice sees a lot of police officers and firefighters as well as weekend-warriors. Additionally, the police and firefighters? health plans no longer cover chiropractor visits, so they have been seeking out treatment alternatives and are finding that utilizing osteopathic manipulation is an excellent alternative.

Responsibilities:

  • No prescribing of narcotics
  • Schedule is 9-5
  • No call

Benefits:

  • Very competitive salary and bonus
  • All major insurances (health, life, disability, malpractice)
  • Generous PTO, CME benefits

Requirements:

  • Completion of Sports Medicine Fellowship Program
  • Residency training can be Internal or Family Medicine
  • Board Certified
