About the Position
* Join an academic, physician-led team within a large integrated health system
* Provide a mix of inpatient and outpatient sports medicine care
* Teach and mentor medical students and residents in an academic setting
* Perform sports medicine procedures and manage musculoskeletal conditions
* Work in a collaborative environment focused on innovation, quality, and patient-centered care
* Utilize advanced tools including EPIC EMR and AI-assisted clinical documentation technology
* Practice within a nationally recognized organization with strong specialty integration
* Schedule & Practice Details
* Full-time (1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week)
* Light call schedule
* Supported by dedicated clinical staff and multidisciplinary teams
* Qualifications
* MD or DO from an accredited medical school
* Completion of Family Medicine residency and Sports Medicine fellowship
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine
* Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
* Active DEA license
* Eligible for or active North Carolina medical licensure
