• Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Sports Medicine Physician

• Affiliated with University of Michigan Health

• Full-time opportunity in Alma, MI, with a satellite clinic in Clare, MI

• Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.

• Friday, 8 a.m.–12 p.m.

• No call responsibilities

Credentialed at two local hospitals

Requirements:

U.S. medical degree (or foreign equivalent)

Completed Family Medicine Residency + Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship

Board certified/eligible

Eligible for unrestricted Michigan medical license + Controlled Substance License

Reason for Recruitment: Replacement for departing provider

• Diagnose, manage, and treat non-surgical musculoskeletal injuries and disorders in patients of all ages

• Manage acute injuries (sprains, strains, contusions, joint pain, fractures, dislocations)

• Care for chronic/overuse injuries

• Specialize in sports-related medical conditions

• Utilize diagnostic/procedural ultrasound, restorative medicine, performance arts medicine, and concussion management

• Expedite surgical referrals if needed
