JOB DESCRIPTION:
Medical Center in North Carolina is seeking a 50% Sports Medicine and 50% Family Medicine initially and then track to 100% Sports Medicine after the practice builds. Sports Medicine candidates will perform ultrasound guided injections and diagnostic ultrasound, do informal interpretation of diagnostic imaging pending radiology review, diagnose and manage concussion and uncomplicated fractures, and have basic DME knowledge. The Physical Therapy division is next door and complements these services and provides exceptional care and access to our patients.

Communications among the family physicians and the hospitalists are excellent. The family medicine residency program is affiliated with UNC Medical Center.
