We’re seeking a dedicated Primary Care or Geriatric Medicine physician to join one of the most impactful clinics in the Downey community. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about value-based care.
📍 Position Overview
- Location: Downey Clinic Downey, CA 90240
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: 6-month contract with potential extension or permanent conversion
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM
🩺 Clinical Setting
- Specialty: Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (ABFM)
- Patient Population: Geriatrics & Primary Care
- Daily Volume: 17–20 patients per day (high-volume clinic)
- Support Team: Medical Assistant + APP support
- Environment: Fast-paced, team-oriented, value-based care model
✔️ Required Qualifications
- Board Certified (ABIM or ABFM)
- Active California medical license
- DEA & BLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in primary care or geriatric care
- Experience with value-based care and HEDIS measures (required)
