A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Medical Director β Geriatric Medicine to support a PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) program. This role offers the opportunity to provide clinical leadership while delivering compassionate care to seniors with complex medical needs, helping them remain independent in their communities.

π©ββοΈ Key Responsibilities
β’ Provide medical direction and oversight of participant care
β’ Conduct history & physicals for new participants and reassessments
β’ Develop and manage comprehensive treatment plans
β’ Supervise Primary Care Providers and Advanced Practice Providers
β’ Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives
β’ Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and family conferences
β’ Educate participants and caregivers on chronic disease management
β’ Evaluate diagnostic tests and ensure high standards of clinical care
β’ Assist with PACE participant intake and eligibility assessments
π΅ Patient Population
β’ Adults 55+ with chronic and complex medical needs
β’ Patients who qualify for nursing home level of care but live in the community
β’ Focus on maintaining independence and improving quality of life
β Requirements
π Active Massachusetts Physician License
π Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
β Board Certification in Geriatrics β Preferred
π DEA Registration
π Supervisory / leadership experience
π Minimum 1 year experience caring for frail or elderly populations
π NPDB Self-Query report (current month)
