Arc Health is on the lookout for a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician who’s passionate about adult and geriatric outpatient care and energized by mission-driven work. This is a full-time outpatient opportunity in beautiful Santa Rosa, California, providing high-quality primary care in a culturally grounded, community-centered health system.

If you’re excited about chronic disease management, elder care, and practicing medicine with purpose—this role is for you. Long-term placement and transition to permanent employment are absolutely on the table.

🩺 The Role at a Glance

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Patient Volume: 12–15 patients per day

• Focus: Adult & geriatric primary care, chronic disease management, complex medical conditions

• Setting: Comprehensive outpatient health center

• EMR: Epic (with on-site Super Users for support)

• Care Model: Team-based pod system including MA, RN, Medical Receptionist, and HIM support

You’ll practice in a truly integrated environment with access to:

• Medical, dental, and behavioral health services

• In-house pharmacy

• Pain management program

• Podiatry (1 day/week)

• High-risk OB/GYN consults & rheumatology (specialist-provided)

• Wellness center: chiropractic care, physical therapy, acupuncture

• Herbal & integrative medicine clinic

• Phlebotomy services

• Traditional Native American healers (by referral)

• General pediatric services

Located about one hour north of San Francisco, Santa Rosa sits in the heart of California’s Wine Country. Think rolling vineyards, vibrant arts, world-class food, and easy access to regional and state parks.

The health center was founded in 1971 by leaders from the Indian communities of Sonoma County and continues to serve approximately 5,000 active patients. It operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Tribal Organization under P.L. 93-638, supported by a consortium of local Tribal nations. Cultural respect, community trust, and whole-person care are central to everything they do.

📋 Primary Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, and chronic conditions

• Conduct comprehensive adult physical exams

• Manage chronic illnesses, including diabetes and complex geriatric care

• Collaborate with specialists and interdisciplinary teams

• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  (New grads welcome—board-eligible is great!)

• Active California medical license

• Commitment to rural, Tribal, and underserved healthcare
