TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Part-Time Physician (Outpatient) in Pittsburgh, PA for our client, delivering primary care services across outpatient settings. This role focuses on evaluating and treating acute and chronic conditions, providing preventive care and patient education, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team while using EMR systems to ensure accurate documentation and continuity of care.

This role focuses on evaluating and treating acute and chronic conditions, providing preventive care and patient education, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team while using EMR systems to ensure accurate documentation and continuity of care.
Responsibilities as the Part-Time Physician (Outpatient):
- Patient Evaluation & Clinical Assessment: Conduct patient histories and physical examinations to assess presenting conditions, risk factors, and psychosocial needs.
- Diagnosis & Treatment Planning: Diagnose acute and chronic conditions, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
- Medication Management & Procedures: Prescribe medications in accordance with state regulations and perform minor in-office procedures as needed.
- Preventive Care & Patient Education: Provide counseling on disease management, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Care Coordination & Documentation: Collaborate with the care team to coordinate referrals while maintaining accurate, timely electronic medical records.
- Board Certification: Board-certified physician in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine required.
- Licensure: Active Pennsylvania medical license required.
- Certification: Current DEA registration and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
