Job Responsibilities
- Provide general medical direction and supervise participant care, including medical policies and QAPI program oversight.
- Conduct complete history and physical assessments of new participants and perform reassessments as needed.
- Develop medical treatment plans and coordinate necessary services in various participant living settings.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, participate in team conferences, and educate on diagnoses and treatment options.
- Supervise health care programs and manage participant needs in a shared and collaborative culture.
Qualifications
- Current and active plenary physician license in Massachusetts [REQUIRED].
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice [REQUIRED]; Geriatrics [PREFERRED].
- Experience or added qualifications in geriatrics [PREFERRED].
- DEA Registration [REQUIRED].
- Previous supervisory experience [REQUIRED].
- A minimum of one year of documented experience with frail or elderly populations [REQUIRED].
Working Hours
- Rotating shifts (M-F, Full time)
Skills
- Effective in physical assessment and chronic disease management for older adults.
- Ability to work in a creative and alternate healthcare setting.
- Capacity to manage changing priorities per participant needs.
