Job Responsibilities

  • Provide general medical direction and supervise participant care, including medical policies and QAPI program oversight.
  • Conduct complete history and physical assessments of new participants and perform reassessments as needed.
  • Develop medical treatment plans and coordinate necessary services in various participant living settings.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, participate in team conferences, and educate on diagnoses and treatment options.
  • Supervise health care programs and manage participant needs in a shared and collaborative culture.

Qualifications

  • Current and active plenary physician license in Massachusetts [REQUIRED].
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice [REQUIRED]; Geriatrics [PREFERRED].
  • Experience or added qualifications in geriatrics [PREFERRED].
  • DEA Registration [REQUIRED].
  • Previous supervisory experience [REQUIRED].
  • A minimum of one year of documented experience with frail or elderly populations [REQUIRED].

Working Hours

  • Rotating shifts (M-F, Full time)

Skills

  • Effective in physical assessment and chronic disease management for older adults.
  • Ability to work in a creative and alternate healthcare setting.
  • Capacity to manage changing priorities per participant needs.
