Shasta Regional Medical Center in Redding, CA, a member of the esteemed Prime Healthcare system, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Director/Clinical Physician to join our team. This leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the delivery of high-quality medical care within our community.
Position Summary
The Medical Director/Clinical Physician is responsible for the coordination and oversight of all medical care and quality of services provided at the clinic. This position will serve as a member of the Medical Management Staff and will collaborate with the Executive Director and Board of Directors in the development of services and program plans. The Medical Director will ensure consistent quality of care to patients of the clinic by the oversight of the establishment of clinic quality goals, which include the tracking and monitoring of these goals. The Medical Director/Clinical Physician will also provide delivery of medical services to patients of the clinic in a primary care and/or urgent care environment.
The salary of the Medical Director/Clinical Physician may differ depending on experience and qualifications. However, this exceptional opportunity includes a competitive Salary Package of $350,000 to $400,000 annually, a generous $50,000 sign-on bonus, CME, health insurance, 401K, and malpractice insurance coverage.
Position Requirements
- 3-5 years' work experience in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
- 2 years of Medical Director experience preferred
- Current California Medical License MD/DO
- Unrestricted and current DEA Registration
- Current California Board of Pharmacy Controlled Substance Certificate of Registration
