Position Overview
The Center Medical Director (CMD) serves as both a practicing physician and clinical leader, overseeing all medical and operational aspects of the center. This role combines hands-on patient care with strategic leadership of physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinical staff to ensure delivery of high-quality, value-based care.
The CMD is responsible for optimizing clinical performance, fostering a collaborative care environment, and driving patient outcomes consistent with the organization’s mission and standards.

Job Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage the center’s clinical team, including PCPs and Nurse Practitioners.
- Collaborate with operations leaders to ensure efficient clinic workflows and superior patient experience.
- Drive quality and financial performance under the Value-Based Care model.
- Participate in organizational leadership development programs and medical economics training.
- Engage in ongoing improvement initiatives to promote clinical excellence and growth.
Qualifications
- Certification: Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted state medical license
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (geriatrics or family practice preferred); prior leadership experience strongly desired
- Skills: Proven leadership, communication, and analytical skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Travel: Ability to travel locally and occasionally regionally
