We’re seeking a dedicated Locum Medical Director to lead and oversee geriatric care services in Pensacola, FL. This role offers the opportunity to provide meaningful medical direction, manage interdisciplinary teams, and make a direct impact on the lives of seniors by ensuring high-quality, compassionate care.
Job Responsibilities
• Conduct initial and periodic assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage care delivery.
• Lead and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Participate in intake evaluations, family conferences, and care planning.
• Supervise PCPs and APPs, ensuring quality improvement initiatives are met.
• Participate in provider on-call rotation as needed.
Qualifications
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice (Geriatrics preferred)
• DEA Registration & Controlled Substance Certification – Required
• Minimum 1 year of experience with elderly/frail populations – Required
• Previous supervisory/leadership experience – Required
• Strong skills in physical assessment and chronic disease management

• Full-time, daytime schedule
