Seeking an experienced Medical Director in Geriatric Medicine to lead and oversee clinical care for a frail elderly population. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.

🕒 Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, Full-time

💼 Key Responsibilities:

• 🩺 Conduct history & physicals, event-based and periodic reassessments

• 🏡 Develop and oversee medical treatment plans across multiple residential locations

• 👥 Interview applicants and caregivers; assist in intake and assessment decisions

• 🗣️ Discuss medical conditions and prognosis with patients and families to support future care planning

• 🤝 Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams

• 📈 Participate in leadership planning to meet operating goals

• 👩‍⚕️ Supervise healthcare and treatment programs

• 🔬 Order and interpret lab and diagnostic tests

• 📞 Participate in provider on-call rotation as required

✅ Candidate Requirements:

• 🎓 Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Practice (REQUIRED)

• 🩺 Board Certification in Geriatrics preferred

• 💊 CDS Certification and DEA Registration (REQUIRED)

• 👨‍💼 Previous supervisory experience (REQUIRED)

• 📅 Minimum 1 year experience working with frail or elderly patients

• 🧠 Skilled in physical assessment & chronic disease management for older adults

• 💡 Desire to work in an innovative healthcare setting

• 🔄 Ability to manage changing priorities based on patient needs

📃 Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification

• Controlled Substance Registration (CSR/CDS)

• DEA Registration

• Florida State License
