ob Title: Part-Time Regional Family Medicine Physician
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Regional Family Medicine Physician to lead and support clinical operations across a designated region. This leadership role blends direct primary care delivery with strategic oversight of clinical performance and patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family medicine, with experience across diverse care settings, a commitment to coordinated care, and a passion for improving population health.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide clinical leadership and operational oversight for primary care delivery and medical management strategies within the assigned region.

Work 20 hours per week, including direct patient care through in-home or facility-based visits with approximately 10 patients weekly.

Analyze clinical and financial outcomes across the region to identify trends and implement performance improvements.

Collaborate closely with the VP and General Manager to expand clinical presence in existing and new markets.

Deliver family medicine services in various settings including patients’ homes, clinics, hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities.

Develop and coordinate comprehensive care plans incorporating input from patients, families, primary care providers (PCPs), and specialists.

Foster strong relationships with local healthcare providers, community partners, and internal teams.

Review regional P&L performance, communicate outcomes to senior leadership, and align with business goals.

Support, mentor, and oversee clinical staff including physicians, nurse practitioners, and allied health professionals.
Supervisory Duties:

Directly supervise family medicine physicians and maintain dotted-line oversight of other clinical staff in the region.

Lead hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance evaluations of clinical team members.
Qualifications:
Required:
-
Must reside in or near El Paso, TX.
-
Medical degree (MD or DO) with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine.

2–3 years of clinical experience post-residency (residents or fellows nearing completion will also be considered).

1–3 years of clinical leadership or administrative experience.

Working knowledge of utilization management (UM) and quality management (QM) processes.
Preferred:

1–3 years of experience in managed care, value-based care, or population health models.
