Faculty Geriatric Medicine Opportunity in Greenville, NC
An academic practice in Greenville, North Carolina is seeking a board certified or board eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician with fellowship training in Geriatrics to join its expanding department. This full-time opportunity includes a faculty appointment with an academic medical school and is open to tenure track or fixed-term positions at the Clinical Assistant Professor level or higher.
Position Highlights:
Full-time academic position with faculty appointment
Primarily outpatient clinical care with some inpatient and skilled nursing involvement
Clinical settings include ambulatory geriatrics clinic, inpatient hospital, and a continuing care retirement community
Strong emphasis on teaching medical students, residents, and other learners
Opportunities for academic leadership and scholarly activity
Hospital privileges at a large academic Level 1 trauma center
Comprehensive support from an integrated primary care department that includes geriatrics, obstetrics, sports medicine, behavioral health, nutrition, and procedural care
