Join Our Geriatrics Team in Grand Rapids, MI
We are seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Geriatrics Physician to join our exceptional Geriatrics Team located in the vibrant city of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Our facility provides comprehensive care for patients in eight local nursing facilities and actively supports the Trinity Health at Home Thrive Program, an Advanced Care Coordination Program. You will have the opportunity to teach residents, medical students, and fellows while being part of a supportive team that values work/life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quality healthcare to a diverse patient population.
- Support the Advanced Care Coordination Program.
- Participate in teaching and training residents and medical students.
- Maintain autonomy and flexibility in scheduling patient visits.
- Share on-call responsibilities with fellow providers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local nursing facilities.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible (must become Board Certified within 2 years) or Board Certified in Geriatrics Medicine.
- Experience working with the geriatric population.
- MI medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA license (or willingness to obtain).
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Clean malpractice history (highly preferred).
