Due to growth, the Section of Endocrinology at Tower Health Medical Center is seeking a 5th BC/BE endocrinologist in beautiful West Reading, PA. This is a Hospital employed, office-based position.

The position offer eligibility for faculty appointment at Drexel University College of Medicine, and the opportunity to actively participate in the newly inaugurated endocrinology fellowship program.

The Section of Endocrinology consists of 4 Endocrinologists, Certified Nurse Practitioners, Certified Diabetes Educators and Registered Dietitians.

Job Summary

Office-based position.

Academic appointment at Drexel University College of Medicine and active participation in the endocrinology fellowship program (teaching, hospital rounds, research, etc.).

Opportunities to participate in clinical research and community outreach/education.

The Endocrinology Section uses a shared Electronic Medical Record system (EPIC), which is utilized by the entire medical center, to address its clinical charting needs.

Qualifications

BC in IM, BC/BE in Endocrinology

Experienced endocrinologists preferred, but candidates who have recently completed their Endocrinology Fellowship will be considered.
