Details:
- Full scope adult endocrinology and primary care (workload may initially be more primary care as the endocrinology practice builds), including comfort in complex disease management of the elderly
- Site will include co-location with Dentistry, Geriatrics, Behavioral Health, Podiatry, Optometry, and Diabetes Nurse Education
- Weekday telephone call up to 5 weeknights a month for adult primary care, weekend call approximately 1 in every 6 weekends for adult primary care, and holiday call once a year
- Strong collaboration with Physician Assistants and Advance Practice Registered Nurses
- Teaching and research opportunities through affiliated academic partners, including academic title and resources
- Opportunity for leadership and performance improvement project involvement
- Documentation in eClinical Works electronic health record
- Billing submission at the time of office visit is expected
- Team based care of two (2) Providers, four (4) Medical Assistants, one (1) nurse, one (1) care coordinator, and one (1) behavioral health worker
Requirements:
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility (for new graduates)
- New graduates of training programs encouraged to apply
- Experience in working with the LGBTQ community and hormone therapy preferred
- MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) for Substance Use Disorders certified or willingness to certify as part of orientation
