Part-Time Endocrinologist – Telehealth - North Carolina (Remote/Virtual) ### The Opportunity Seeking a BC/BE Part-Time Endocrinologist to join a rapidly growing telehealth team. This role supports the delivery of clinical services using telehealth modalities and contributes to the development, standardization, and optimization of digital care delivery across the organization. ### Responsibilities
- Deliver synchronous and asynchronous telehealth visits, remote patient monitoring oversight, and virtual specialty consult services
- Utilize approved medical practices and protocols to provide clinical assessments and recommend appropriate levels of care based on clinical judgment
- Review, update, and verify accuracy of patient records at each appointment
- Analyze test results and determine appropriate care, including referrals, follow-up visits, and further treatment options
- Provide education to patient families, staff, health professionals, and the community
- Maintain compliance with current federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to maintain quality, compliance, and continuity of care ### Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of medicine
- 3 years of experience in a physician practice, emergency room, or urgent care setting
- 1 year of telehealth/virtual care experience preferred
- Active North Carolina medical license, board certification, and current DEA license required
- Ability to obtain additional state licensure as required ### Additional Skills Preferred
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a virtual environment
- Excellent computer skills with ability to multitask — navigating and documenting in an EMR while communicating with patients via video and/or telephonic platforms
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
- Knowledge of healthcare environment as it relates to technology, medical group practice, hospitals, ancillary services, and insurance/managed care
- Up to 25% regional day travel between facilities may be required
