Job Requirements

• MD or DO degree required
• Minimum 1 year of endocrinology experience required
• Ability to provide outpatient endocrine care and after-hours call coverage
• Comfort managing follow-up responsibilities, including reviewing test results and prescription refills
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with clinic and hospital teams
• Ability to support consultative phone coverage on weekends when needed

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive endocrine care in an outpatient clinic setting
• See new and established patients with a typical daily volume of up to 18-20
• Cover evening call Monday through Friday for patient questions after clinic hours
• Provide weekend call coverage for outpatient and inpatient needs
• Review patient test results and manage prescription refill requests
• Collaborate with hospitalists and other providers for curbside consults when needed
• Support continuity of care through reliable follow-through and timely response to patient needs
