Join a growing healthcare organization in Lima, Ohio seeking an Endocrinologist to provide comprehensive care for patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders. This opportunity offers a strong referral base, collaborative support, and the ability to build a thriving practice focused on diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, and hormone-related conditions.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal disease, pituitary disorders, osteoporosis, and metabolic conditions
• Develop and implement individualized long-term treatment plans
• Interpret laboratory studies, imaging, and endocrine diagnostic tests
• Educate patients and families on chronic disease management, lifestyle changes, and preventive care
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, dietitians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Provide consultation services for inpatient and outpatient cases when required
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical programs
• Provide on-call coverage as required by the department
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
• Valid Ohio medical license or eligibility to obtain
• DEA certification if required
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
• No red flags or disciplinary history on license
Working Hours
• Primarily Day Shift with shared call as needed
