Pediatrics - Endocrinology

Required Skills:
  • Valid medical license in the state of practice (or the ability to obtain a temporary license)
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Endocrinology
  • Proven expertise in managing a wide range of pediatric endocrine conditions
  • Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience in a pediatric outpatient and hospital setting
  • Familiarity with telemedicine platforms
  • Experience with clinical research or academic collaboration
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Completion of a fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology
  • Minimum of 2 years’ post-fellowship clinical experience
  • Current board certification in Pediatric Endocrinology

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to obtain a temporary Alaska state medical license during full licensure processing
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, ongoing patient care in both in-person and virtual settings
  • Willingness to participate in after-hours call coverage (including night and weekend shifts)
  • Maintain all relevant certifications and licenses annually

This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $1.00, along with comprehensive benefits including competitive pay packages, weekly pay via direct deposit, extensive medical coverage (W-2), referral bonuses, 24/7 dedicated support, paid sick leave in accordance with applicable laws, and reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and related expenses.
