Required Skills:
- Valid medical license in the state of practice (or the ability to obtain a temporary license)
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Endocrinology
- Proven expertise in managing a wide range of pediatric endocrine conditions
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience in a pediatric outpatient and hospital setting
- Familiarity with telemedicine platforms
- Experience with clinical research or academic collaboration
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Completion of a fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology
- Minimum of 2 years’ post-fellowship clinical experience
- Current board certification in Pediatric Endocrinology
Other Requirements:
- Ability to obtain a temporary Alaska state medical license during full licensure processing
- Commitment to providing high-quality, ongoing patient care in both in-person and virtual settings
- Willingness to participate in after-hours call coverage (including night and weekend shifts)
- Maintain all relevant certifications and licenses annually
