Endocrinologist (Chinese & English Speaking)

Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified and compassionate Endocrinologist who is fluent in Chinese (Mandarin preferred) and English to join a multidisciplinary medical team serving a diverse, multilingual patient population. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals with endocrine and metabolic disorders across outpatient and/or inpatient settings.
The ideal candidate is clinically strong, culturally sensitive, and committed to evidence-based medicine and collaborative care.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage a wide range of endocrine and metabolic conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary diseases, osteoporosis, and related conditions.
Provide outpatient and/or inpatient endocrinology consultations as required.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on current clinical guidelines and best practices.
Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists to ensure coordinated, comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients and families on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care.
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in compliance with regulatory and institutional standards.
Participate in clinical meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and care coordination efforts.
Stay current with advancements in endocrinology through continuing medical education.
Required Qualifications
MD or equivalent medical degree from an accredited institution.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
Active medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York.
Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin preferred) and English, both spoken and written.
Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.
Commitment to ethical, patient-focused, and culturally competent care.
Preferred Qualifications
Fellowship training in Endocrinology.
Experience treating a culturally and linguistically diverse patient population.
Prior experience in a hospital or specialty clinic setting.
Interest in clinical research, teaching, or program development (optional).
