An established outpatient practice in Long Island City, NY is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Endocrinologist to provide comprehensive endocrine and metabolic care in a strictly outpatient, in-person setting.

This role focuses on consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of hormonal and metabolic disorders. The practice offers a structured weekday schedule, collaborative environment, and long-term growth opportunities including partnership potential.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient consultations for endocrine and metabolic disorders
• Diagnose and manage conditions including:
o Diabetes mellitus
o Thyroid disorders
o Adrenal and pituitary disorders
o Osteoporosis
o Lipid abnormalities
• Interpret endocrine laboratory results and relevant imaging studies
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing follow-up care
• Educate patients on disease management and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialty providers for coordinated care
• Maintain accurate documentation using EMR/EHR systems

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school – Required
• Completion of Internal Medicine residency – Required
• Completion of Endocrinology fellowship – Required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology – Required
• Active or eligible for New York State medical license – Required
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience – Required
• Strong diagnostic and clinical expertise in endocrine and metabolic disorders – Required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – Required
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered outpatient care – Required

Working Hours

• 8-hour shifts
• 5 days per week (40 hours weekly)
• In-person, outpatient setting only
• Full-time and part-time options available
• No inpatient responsibilities
