Endocrinologist - Outpatient

Edgewater & Port Orange, FL
Full-Time | Flexible 40-Hour Schedule | No Call

A well-established multi-specialty healthcare organization is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Endocrinologist to join a growing outpatient practice serving Edgewater and Port Orange, Florida.

This is an excellent opportunity for both new graduates and experienced physicians seeking a supportive environment with strong clinical infrastructure and exceptional work-life balance.

Position Highlights

  • Outpatient only

  • No call responsibilities

  • Flexible full-time schedule (40 hours per week)

  • Standard clinic hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

  • Alternative scheduling options available

  • Patient volume: 15-17 patients per day

  • Split coverage between Edgewater and Port Orange locations

  • Higher patient demand currently in Edgewater

Practice Environment

The practice operates within a comprehensive, multidisciplinary care model offering:

  • Primary Care

  • Behavioral Health

  • Diabetes Education

  • Lab and Imaging services

  • Onsite Pharmacy

  • Extended Hours Care Center

  • Pain Management and additional specialty support

Robust clinical and administrative support allows physicians to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

Role Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage endocrine and metabolic disorders, including:

    • Diabetes

    • Thyroid disease

    • Adrenal and pituitary disorders

    • General endocrinology conditions

  • Provide outpatient consultative and longitudinal endocrine care

  • Collaborate closely with onsite Diabetes Education and Nutrition services

  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical best practices

Qualifications

  • MD or DO

  • Completion of accredited residency and Endocrinology fellowship

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology

  • Active or eligible Florida medical license

  • Open to new graduates with onboarding support
