The endocrinology service line provides comprehensive care for patients with complex hormonal and metabolic conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary diseases, and endocrine-related cardiovascular risk management. The clinical environment is collaborative, evidence-based, and supported by experienced multidisciplinary teams.
Position Summary
The organization is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Endocrinologist to join its growing specialty team in the New Haven area.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a strong focus on outpatient endocrinology, with inpatient consults as needed based on interest and experience. The physician will work alongside a well-established team of endocrinologists, advanced practice providers, nurses, diabetes educators, and support staff to deliver comprehensive endocrine care.

Essential Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage a broad range of endocrine and metabolic disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary conditions
Provide longitudinal outpatient endocrine care with a focus on evidence-based treatment plans
Interpret laboratory results, imaging studies, and endocrine testing
Collaborate with primary care physicians, cardiologists, nephrologists, and other specialists
Participate in inpatient endocrine consults as needed (optional based on role structure)
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary case discussions
Stay current with advancements in endocrinology and clinical best practices
Qualifications
Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board Status: Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism
Licensure: Eligible for Connecticut medical licensure
Training: Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology fellowship
Experience: All experience levels welcome; new graduates and fellows encouraged to apply
