Position Summary

The facility is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Endocrinologist to join its outpatient endocrine practice in Ocala, Florida.
This is a Monday–Friday, clinic-based role offering a structured schedule, balanced patient volume, and extensive clinical resources.

The incoming physician will collaborate with diabetic educators, nurse practitioners, primary care physicians, and experienced clinical staff to provide comprehensive endocrine and metabolic care.

Essential Position Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage patients with diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal disorders, pituitary conditions, and complex metabolic abnormalities.

  • Conduct outpatient consultations and follow-up visits in a dedicated clinic setting.

  • Work collaboratively with primary care teams, diabetic educators, and clinical support personnel.

  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement, care coordination, and clinical optimization initiatives.

  • Provide patient education to promote preventive health and long-term disease management.

  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) system.

Qualifications

Education

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

Licensure & Certification

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.

  • Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain).

Experience

  • Prior outpatient clinical experience preferred.

  • Motivated new graduates will be considered.
