Position Summary
The facility is seeking a
Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist
to join its growing outpatient team in
Edgewater, Florida
.
This is a full-time or flexible-schedule opportunity (20–32 hours per week), offering excellent work-life balance, collegial support, and a patient-focused clinical environment. The position is outpatient only , with no call and manageable patient volumes averaging 13–17 patients per day .

Essential Position Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders, including diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, and pituitary conditions.

Collaborate closely with diabetes educators, dietitians, and primary care providers to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.

Provide patient education and counseling to support disease prevention, lifestyle modification, and treatment adherence.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).

Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and quality improvement initiatives.

Contribute to the advancement of best practices and evidence-based endocrine care.
Qualifications

Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.

Licensure & Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Endocrinology; eligible for Florida medical licensure.

Experience: Previous outpatient experience preferred; new graduates and fellows are welcome to apply.
