Position Overview
Schedule: Full Time, Monday โ Friday, 8:00 AM โ 4:30 PM
First Patient: 8:20 AM
Patient Volume: 18โ20 patients/day
Follow-ups: 20 minutes
New patients: 40 minutes
Contract Length: 6 months
Call:
May be required every 3โ4 months
Call coverage is shared
No clinic patients on call days
To be discussed during the interview
Credentialing Time: ~120 days
Other Duties: May be asked to assist with monitoring inbaskets
Practice Highlights
100% Adult Endocrinology
Established panel of patients
Experienced and supportive staff
Inpatient consults (shared call)
Diabetes Education & Nutrition Counseling Program on-site
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage hormonal imbalances and endocrine conditions
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
Discuss treatment options and lifestyle adjustments with patients
Conduct follow-ups and adjust treatment plans as needed
Provide education and support for chronic or complex endocrine issues
Stay current with endocrine research, treatments, and technologies
Participate in clinical research and studies if applicable
Requirements
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
Proficient in managing Type 1 & Type 2 Diabetes, including insulin pumps
Strong knowledge of the endocrine system and related disorders
Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and communication skills
Competence with medical software and equipment
