Facility & Practice Overview

Join a progressive outpatient Endocrinology practice in the picturesque city of Pueblo, Colorado. This established practice offers specialized care for adults, focusing on diabetes management, thyroid dysfunction, and osteoporosis. The facility aims to enhance the healthcare experience by prioritizing excellent patient care and utilizing advanced ultrasound capabilities and EPIC EMR system-wide.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care in a full-time outpatient setting.
• Manage and treat conditions including diabetes, thyroid disorders, and osteoporosis for adult patients only.
• Conduct approximately 15 patient consultations per day.
• Collaborate with a team to integrate Certified Diabetes Educator services on-site.
• Stay at the forefront of advancements in healthcare to improve patient outcomes.
• Engage in community outreach and education regarding endocrine health.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (0-5 years post-residency).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
• Active Colorado medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Preferred: Clean malpractice history.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa support (J1 or H1B).
• DEA certification required before starting.

License & Certification Requirements

• Active Colorado medical license.
• Board certification (or eligibility) in Internal Medicine.
• Board certification (or eligibility) in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
• DEA certification must be obtained prior to starting work.
