Perm - Physician - Endocrinology Opportunity in Pueblo, CO

Join a dynamic practice as a Board Eligible/Board Certified Endocrinologist in Pueblo, Colorado! This established outpatient endocrinology practice offers high-level care in a beautiful setting, allowing you to enjoy the stunning scenery and outdoor activities that Southern Colorado provides.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent patient care within an established outpatient practice.
• Focus on the treatment and management of diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, and osteoporosis.
• Interact with adult patients, as pediatric patients are not part of this practice.
• Utilize ultrasound capabilities within the clinic.
• Employ EPIC EMR for patient documentation and management.
• Maintain a busy clinic schedule, seeing approximately 15 patients per day.
• Contribute to shaping the future of healthcare at UCHealth.
• Committed to permanent placement (not accepting locum candidates or visa candidates).

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
• Active Colorado medical license (or willingness to obtain one).
• Preferred clean malpractice history.
• Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days).
• DEA license to be obtained prior to start.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine - REQUIRED
• Board Certification in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism - REQUIRED
• Active Colorado medical license - REQUIRED
• DEA license - REQUIRED
