Endocrinologist – Permanente Position in Pueblo, Colorado

Position Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient endocrinology services to adult patients, focusing on the management and treatment of diabetes, thyroid disorders, and osteoporosis.
- Deliver exceptional patient-centered care in a busy clinical setting, averaging approximately 15 patient encounters per day.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools, including ultrasound technology, available within the clinic.
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- In the process of establishing a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) program on-site to enhance patient education and disease management.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology by the ABIM or equivalent certification body.
- Medical license to practice in Colorado or eligibility to obtain one.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
- Interest in a permanent placement; candidates seeking locum tenens opportunities are not considered.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of $265,000 to $300,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
