Position Type: Locum Tenens
Specialty: Physician - Endocrinology
Location: Washington
Shift: Varied (Monday-Friday 8 AM - 5 PM, Clinic Call after hours 11 days/month)
Position Details:
- Setting: Outpatient clinic only
- Patient Population: Endocrinology/Diabetes patients
- Daily Patient Volume: 10-15 patients
- Procedures Required: None (Thyroid biopsies not required)
- Duties: New consults and follow-ups
- EMR System: Epic
- Support Staff: MA/LPN
Schedule Details:
- Monday-Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Thursday: 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM)
- After-hours clinic call: 11 days/month (remote handling possible, no hospital/ER visits required)
- Weekend call: Remote handling accepted (7 AM - 7 AM)
Additional Information:
- Orientation: Onsite orientation preferred, one day prior to start
- Reason for Coverage: Departure of previous provider
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified (or Board Eligible with ABIM ONLY) – REQUIRED
- Active WA license or IMLC with LOQ in hand – REQUIRED
- Completed Endocrinology Fellowship – REQUIRED
- Malpractice – Clean Preferred
- ACLS/BLS/DEA – REQUIRED
- Availability at the time of name clear – REQUIRED
Credentialing Information:
- Estimated Timeframe: ~120 days (clean background may start earlier)
