Endocrinology opening in San Antonio, TX Full-time, permanent position Salary: Base Rate of $220,000 annually and $50,000 Bonus Guarantee for 2 years PTO: 6.15 hours per pay period Job Summary: Provides quality, comprehensive out-patient (as per individual employment agreements) health care services (Primary and Specialty Care), which fall under his/her field of training, including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care, and health maintenance etc. to the groups patients. Reports directly to the Medical Director of Specialty regarding clinical issues and activities related to the delivery of medical care. In addition, a Physician is a member of the team, and as such, is expected to be familiar with the philosophy, goals and objectives of the group and work collaboratively to achieve them. They must be cognizant of, and comply with all policies and procedures, as well as pertinent state and federal regulations. Work Environment: Clinical Office Setting. There could be exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a clinic environment. Qualifications: - Must possess a current unrestricted license to practice Medicine in the State of Texas - Annual continuing medical education as required by Board specialty. - Must be registered and have current DEA, DPS and other such certificates to legally operate a practitioner in the State of Texas - Hospital privileges at designated area hospitals if required for specialty. - Bilingual in English and Spanish desired. - Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
