Job Description

A Bettendorf, Iowa based client is looking for an experienced and collaborative Endocrinologist to join an innovative multidisciplinary practice. An ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, is goal-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Referrals are sent from internal to the organization and from outside sources.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school and residency
• Active CA medical license
• Board certification or eligible in endocrinology
• Active DEA certification
• CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Provide endocrinology care including diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and discharge
• Provide patient referrals to other providers as appropriate
• Maintain legible, legal documentation in patient charts as directed by department policies
• Participate in continuing education to stay abreast on new techniques and procedures in the field of endocrinology
• Accurately code, ensure prior authorization for procedures, and document all encounters
