**Pediatric Endocrinology opportunity in Savannah, GA** Service area: 300,000 **Position Details:** - Full-time, permanent - Provides consultation to Peds floor; PICU and NICU - Pediatric Intensivists cover hospital - The physician's primary responsibility will include evidence-based clinical evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents from birth through 18 years. Participation in grand rounds and other educational and professional development activities is strongly encouraged. - Fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology required - Candidates must be board-eligible/board-certified in Pediatric Endocrinology - Candidates must have or be eligible to obtain a Georgia license - This is the only children's hospital in Southeast Georgia, including the regions only Level III Neonatal Care Unit. In 2016, the Hospital served more than 70,000 children in the region and has plans to expand its services over the next five years. **About the Medical Center:** Medical center is a 612-bed hospital that opened our doors in 1955 and have evolved into the most advanced healthcare provider in the region. Regional referral center for heart care, cancer care, trauma care, children's care, high-risk pregnancies and high-risk newborn care.
