**Emergency Medicine opening in Vermont**

* Seeking a BC/BE Emergency Medicine to join established practice
Fulltime employed position with Annual salary of $340,308 +.
26 bed state of the art department
1521 scheduled work hours annually for fulltime position. Paid vacation annually, 5% of worked time, increases to 8% with 5 years of service.
ABEM Board Certified Emergency Physician with at least two years of clinical experience preferred. EM residency trained. Board eligible physicians will certainly be considered, must be within 5 years of completion of residency with plans to become boarded.

9 hour shifts; Full-time physician covers 14 shifts per month. 45 hours of MD coverage per day.

Level III Trauma Center. Tertiary care center support by either Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center or University of Vermont Medical Center with ground or helicopter transport available
Digital X-ray (GE) and department ultrasound (Zonaire). 24 hour radiology and lab services available
The hospital is licensed for 188 beds. Service area 85,000.

The hospital is a 100 bed community hospital with ER volume of 36,000 patient visits per year. ER physicians are residency trained. ICU with 24-hour intensivist coverage. Hospital based Community Cancer Center with COC certification. Service area 85,000 and new ENT Medical Office Building plans.
