Seeking BE/BC Emergency Medicine Physician to Hospital an hour west of Omaha, NE. Physicians who appreciate a charming, mid-size community and value work-life balance can find professional and financial benefits at this Hospital.

  • Unique 13-hour shift allows the physician to see patients for 12 hours, and then decompress with an hour of admin time in which they would have no patient responsibilities
  • 12-14 shifts per month
  • Annual volume of 11,000+ visits
  • APP coverage 9:30 am-10 pm
  • State-of-the art facility
  • Ultrasound & Glidescope in department
  • Contracted air ambulance X 2 (one on campus)
  • ED including 10 exam rooms, 2 trauma bays, a decon room, holding/triage and oversized ambulance garage
  • Hospitalist program (Adult & Pediatric)
  • In-house Radiologist (use the latest technology such as 1.5T wide bore MRI, CT scans (64 and 128 slice) and ultrasounds)
  • Telestroke, a telehealth service for stroke diagnosis and treatment
  • Telehealth behavioral health assessment

Hospital is a nonprofit, Joint Commission-accredited, acute care facility characterized by its family-centered care, community involvement and progressive ideas in health care. The hospital serves Platte County and the seven surrounding counties. The hospital emergency department is staffed 24/7 by hospital-employed physicians and is designated as a Level III Trauma Center. Additional highlights of the state-of-the-art facility include, advanced diagnostic imaging services like a wide bore MRI and a 64-slice CT scanner. They also have strong, in-house hospitalist programs and an excellent nursing staff.

The area is in the heart of the Midwest. It sits at the confluence of the Loup and Platte Rivers, which provide a bounty of wildlife viewing, kayaking, hunting and fishing opportunities, as well as beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
