ERx is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician to join our team at Clay County Hospital in Ashland, AL. Ashland is located mid-state east of Birmingham.

Physician Requirements:
ERx specializes in providing quality, compassionate emergency medicine through independent contractor physicians. Our providers are highly trained, dedicated and motivated to serve all areas, but we proudly specialize in rural areas of the country. Many of our locations have been staffed by ERx for over a decade.
Emergency Department Details:
- 32 bed Hospital
- Emergency services provided 24/7/365
- Average of 15 patients per day in the ER
- IP services provided Fri night until Mon AM
- Average of 3-5 IP per day
- Can do a maximum of 36 hr shift
- Uses CPSI EMR system
- 5 bed unit
- Must have ACLS, ATLS and PALS unless EM Boarded
- Back up includes FM, ENT, Cardiology, Surgery, Orthopedics
Physician Requirements:
- Previous ER experience a must
- Current ACLS, ATLS and PALS unless boarded in EM
- NICE to the patients and staff!
