Altamont Emergency Physicians and Sutter Tracy Community Hospital are seeking an Emergency Medicine physician to join their seven-member group in Tracy, California. Applicants must be board certified or board eligible in emergency medicine or family medicine/surgery. BC/BE Internal Medicine physicians with five years of emergency experience will also be considered. Twelve hour shifts, which vary between days and nights, will comprise 120-160 hours of service per month. There are also some nine and ten hour shifts available. An hourly wage will be paid for the first fifteen months and then compensation will become fee-for-service.
Sutter Tracy Community Hospital is the area's only full-service acute care hospital and serves more than 100,000 people in the Tri-Central Valley Region. Its state-of-the-art facility features the latest medical technology and diagnostic equipment, offers a comprehensive array of inpatient and outpatient services, and is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
Tracy is located within 20 minutes from the East Bay and is an easy commute from the Pleasanton and Livermore areas.
