As a system medical director you will manage the operations of the system emergency departments in collaboration with the site medical directors, nursing leadership and hospital administration. You'll also oversee supervision of the system's emergency medicine staff per the bylaws, policies and procedures of the institution. You will represent the system emergency departments in the community and within the hospital medical staff.

This position will oversee five hospitals; two locations in Tulsa, Glenpool, Muskogee and Vinita.

Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa

  • ED Volume: 108,000
  • Level two trauma center
  • Separate Pediatric Emergency department that is staffed by pediatric emergency medicine and pediatric physicians with an admission rate of 19%
Saint Francis Hospital Glenpool
  • ED Volume: 11,000
  • 13 treatment rooms including one trauma and one psych safe
  • Admission rate: 14%
Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee
  • ED Volume: 29,000
  • 21 ED beds
  • Admission rate: 18%
Saint Francis Hospital South in Tulsa
  • ED Volume: 27,000
  • Admission rate: 12%
  • Broad, community-type pathology with mostly medical cases
Saint Francis Hospital Vinita
  • ED Volume: 10,000
  • Provides initial treatment to patients with a broad spectrum of illnesses or injuries, some of which may be life threatening and require immediate attention.
  • More extensive care is transfer via ground and air to Saint Francis tulsa
