The VAMC is in need of local doctors who are in driving distance to the facility (San Antonio TX VAMC). Please see the details below regarding this opportunity:

- BC ABEM or BC FP/IM w 2000 hours experienc
- Trauma Level 3 designated ED - all patients triaged using the 5-tier Emergency Severity Index
- Always double coverage and at times 5-6 doctors working
- 15 ED rooms with 5 overflow beds
- There are also 4 psych ER beds that are only staffed 12 hours/day
- 20% admission
- Annual Volume 38,000
