Envision Physician Services is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians at Nacogdoches Medical Center.

Position Profile:

• 12 bed ED with 2 Fast Track beds
• 20,000­ annual ED visits
• Patient mix: 50% medicine, 25% pediatric, 25% ortho and surgery
• 24-hour X-ray and 64 slice CT scanner with 24 hour radiology reads, US and MRI in-house during daytime and on-call at night
• 24 hours of physician coverage, 12-hour shifts
• 12 hours­ Advanced Practice Provider coverage
• 12 hours scribe coverage
• Must be BC/BE ABEM/AOBEM or BC FM, IM with ED experience
• 1099 position - up to 120 hours available

Nacogdoches Medical Center is a 150 bed general acute center with state-of-the-art equipment and technology. ­There is full representation of specialties including neurosurgery and a responsive medical staff. Nacogdoches is an accredited chest pain center, Level IV Trauma center, stroke care, Level II NICU. ­­

In the spring of 2021, Nacogdoches Medical Center received its 12th A from the Leapfrog Group, an independent organization that rates hospital safety. NMC was the only hospital within 70 miles to achieve a letter A grade for the spring reporting period.
