Registered Nurse (RN) Benefits




  • Pay range $45.10-$49.61 per hour - not including pay differentials
  • Up to $25,000 per year in loan assistance from NHSC, Alaska Sharp, IHS with 2-year agreement
  • $5,000-$7,500 sign on bonus and 6-7% ($5,065-$6,500) annual retention bonus
  • $10,000-$12,500 relocation assistance paid before you move plus 30 days of free housing
  • 23 days of PTO, 10 days of continuing education, and 10 paid holidays
  • 6% no-match, annual pension and up to 2% employer match retirement plans



Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities and Facility Details




  • The Emergency Room Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of emergent patient care through the nursing process of assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation
  • 10-bed level 4 trauma emergency room
  • 7 days on, 7 days off schedule - call is not required



Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications and Skills




  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Required minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in the emergency room
  • Experience and desire to live in a cold climate is preferred

  • City only accessible by plane or boat - direct flights from Anchorage, AK
  • Recreational activities include hunting, fishing, kayaking, four-wheeling, and more
  • City amenities include family-owned restaurants, cab service, work out facility, movie theater
