Medical Doctor Associates (MDA) has an Emergency Medicine Locum Opportunity in Honolulu, HI.
This is an ongoing opportunity while searching for the permanent candidate. Board Certification: BC/BE Emergency Medicine (Emergency Medicine residency). Schedule: Days/nights/weekends (few nights available due to dedicated nocturnists). Shift Times: 7a-3p, 2p-10p, 9p-7a. Annual ER Volume: 15,000, 30% admission rate, high acuity with high geriatric patient population. Census: 1.5 – 2 PPH. Backup: Hospitalist, Intensivist. EMR Type: Cerner. License Requirement: Must be licensed in HI. Privileges: 60-90 times normal processing time. Length of Shifts: 8 and 10-hour shifts (two dedicated nocturnists); 7a-3p, 2p-10p, 9p-7a. No APPs or scribes Scheduled shifts (equitable distribution of days/nights/weekends) Schedules out 3 months in advance.
