### Locums | Emergency Medicine | Seattle, WA (Active WA License Required) ### Why This Role

Assignment Details Location: Seattle, Washington Start Date: As soon as credentialed Duration: Ongoing through 2027 Preferred Commitment: Full-time or approximately 15 shifts per month Schedule: Varied day, mid, evening, and potentially overnight shifts Setting: Emergency Department Call: None Weekend and Holiday Coverage: Required Admissions: Approximately 8–14 per shift Patient Volume: Approximately 8–14 patients per shift Credentialing: Emergency/temporary privileges available EMR: Epic ### Shift Options Day: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM weekdays; 7:00 AM–3:00 PM weekends Mid: 11:00 AM–8:00 PM daily Evening: 2:00 PM–11:00 PM weekdays; 3:00 PM–11:00 PM weekends Potential 2027 Nights: 6:00 PM–3:00 AM or 10:00 PM–7:00 AM Providers must agree to work varied shifts based on scheduling needs ### Current Coverage Dates October 17–18, 2026: 11:00 AM–8:00 PM November 14, 2026: 11:00 AM–8:00 PM November 20, 2026: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM November 25, 2026: 6:00 PM–3:00 AM November 29, 2026: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM December 5–6, 2026: 11:00 AM–8:00 PM December 13, 2026: 11:00 AM–8:00 PM December 17, 2026: 6:00 PM–3:00 AM December 20–22, 2026: 11:00 AM–8:00 PM December 24, 2026: - 7:00 AM–4:00 PM - 2:00 PM–11:00 PM December 25, 2026: 2:00 PM–11:00 PM December 27, 2026: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM Additional 2027 dates to be determined ### Requirements ABEM/AOBEM board certified or board eligible Emergency Medicine residency or fellowship training Active Washington medical license; IMLC is not accepted Minimum two years of Emergency Medicine experience Active ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications Active DEA registration Clean professional, licensure, and malpractice history Willingness to work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays Specific availability required at submission ### Clinical Details Broad-spectrum emergency medical care Mostly medical cases with low trauma volume Medium- to high-acuity patient population Evaluation, treatment, and patient disposition Coordination with consultants, hospitalists, and other care teams Effective patient handoffs Quality-improvement participation RN support
