We're working with a well-regarded flagship hospital in Morristown, NJ, to find their next Chair of Emergency Medicine. The role leads both the adult and pediatric EDs and the academic program, at a hospital that has been CMS 5-Star and Leapfrog "A" rated for a decade.

The Dept.
- About 110,000 annual visits across 120 treatment areas in a recently renovated ED
- Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma, comprehensive stroke, Level 1 Geriatric, and a Magnet hospital
- The oldest ACGME EM residency in New Jersey, running since 1978
- 75 physicians and 46 experienced APPs, with scribe support
- Dedicated children's hospital and pediatric ED, plus a helicopter and specialty transport program
- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
Work closely with department leaders and the C-suite
Clinical schedule of 48–72 hours per month, with the rest administrative
Qualifications
15+ years of ED Director and academic leadership experience
New Jersey license, or eligible to obtain one
Able to start once credentialed (about 3–4 months)
